Yesterday Apple released the newest iPod touch. The new model boasts 32 GB of flash memory and comes with the January Software Update, which includes Mail, Google Maps, Stocks, Weather and Notes. I am a big fan of the iPod touch and was waiting until the current models were upgraded because I felt that 8 GB was kind of a rip-off for $300. Naturally, I figured that once a model with more memory was introduced, the lower model would be replaced by the 16 GB for the same price. However, the latest release is $500. |

Yes, my brothers! It has finnaly happened! Apple has unleashed into our presence the 32GB iPod Touch along with the 16GB iPhone! Ok, I am done testifying now lets get down to the basics. Yesterday, Apple released a 32GB iPod Touch along with the 16GB iPhone. The new iPod touch and iPhone both have price tags of $499. This is good for many people with old 30GB iPod 5th Gens because you now do not have to worry about not fitting all of your music onto that shiny new touch(if you ever get one, $499? Are the kidding?) |

3 cup oatmeal 1 cup whole wheat flour (or 2 cups oatmeal and 2 cups whole wheat flour, whatever combination you want) 1 tsp soda 1/4 tsp nutmeg 1 cup unsweetened applesauce 7/8 cup honey (or less) 1 tsp vanilla 2/3 cup raisins or dried apples or dried cranberries Combine the first four ingredients. Mix up the next 3 ingredients and add them to the dry ingredients. Stir in the dried fruit. Roll in small balls and smash to 1/4" thickness on the cookie sheet. Bake at 275F degrees for 22- 25 minutes. Makes about 50 cookies with only .3 grams of fat each. |

So in less than a year Apple has doubled the capacity of the ipod touch from 16 to 32 gig. That is a good start, but they need to be in the 80 or even 160 gig range before I will ditch my 30 gig zune in favor of an upgrade. Oh and a lower price would be nice too! The 32 gig goes for $499! |
