Just a quick update about my Wireless Mighty Mouse. Nearly 2 weeks later, it's still performing nicely. The ball has become stuck once or two, but a quick tap upside down sorted it out. The battery level is on full capacity, which includes prolonged usage and leaving it on overnight. It's safe to say that two AA batteries will keep the mouse going for a long time.

As anybody who knows me knows, I'm a huge fan of bleeding edge technology. As these types of technology are so new and revolutionary, they seem to be in a constant beta state. I will focus on 2 products that I see needing improvement. iPod Touch/iPhone Since a new iPhone will presumably be launched at WWDC (judging by recent news reports), I thought I'd toss in my word on what I'd like to see improved. |

The Apple brand is going to have to start telling a new story soon. In the 1980s, Apple launched their "1984" ad. [http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=OYecfV3ubP8] They were not just introducing the new Mac brand with this campaign, but also a new product category -- the personal computer. Apple portrayed their product launch as something groundbreaking, revolutionary and - at least metaphorically - heroic. The words: "...why 1984 won't be like 1984." The pictures: a female athlete hurls a sledgehammer and destroys the image of Big Brother. In filmmaking, this storyline falls under the superhero genre. Someone or something comes along to overcome incredible odds and save us. That's what Apple promised and that's what Apple did. |

Long time no see, eh? Something strange happened a couple of days ago, my iPod died along with my headset. Well I've got warranty on my headset, but not on my iPod. I can't be bothered to send it for reparation, no. This is the time when I have to get myself a new iPod. If you look at my earlier posts you should be able to see that I decided to get myself an iPod Nano. But things have changed and I am going to get the 16GB iPod Touch. Well, it is very bad that the iPod Nano's space capacity does not reach above 8GB, or else I would have bought it. |
