3g iPhone...Who Really Cares?

Does anyone who currently has an iPhone really care about the forthcoming 3G iPhone?? I'm thinking YES! I personally do not, I very rarely use the iPhone out of WiFi range, so the 3G does not interest me. I also hope and believe that any new software features will be made available to current iPhone users.

I can't see getting a new iPhone simply because of the 3G option. The one thing I wish I could do is swap out the internal Flash card for a larger version, 32GB would be nice!!

Apple takes delivery of 188 mysterious ocean containers

Here's an intriguing report from ImportGenius, a search engine that gathers "competitive intelligence" by monitoring U.S. Customs records of shipments delivered to American ports.

Searching records for shipments to Apple (AAPL), employees at the Scottsdale, Ariz., company reported on Friday that they've spotted a "major spike" since mid March in ocean containers marked by Apple with a mysterious new label: "electric computers"

Tablet Mac to arrive fall 2008?

612EDFEF-590D-44B3-AA23-363D327AC0D7.jpgA very interesting read from The Apple Core
Jason D. O'Grady & David Morgenstern:

A little birdy tells me that Apple will announce a 12 or 13-inch tablet in the fall of this year. Most likely in the September or October time frame. It will run the full Mac OS X and have a slot loading SuperDrive, an “iPhone-type” GPS chip and an Intel Core Duo processor, presumably Intel’s Atom.

Mini Amp for your iPod...goes to 11

Mini Amp iPod/Computer Speaker: No Guitar Required

9A4B9C33-555F-43BA-BCF5-72D1BFDB9185.jpg

I can’t play the guitar worth a damn, but when it comes to firing up this mini amp, no instrument is required. Just hook up your MP3 player and you are good to go (it also doubles as a computer speaker). Features working treble and bass knobs and a 5-watt output.

Product Page (£20 or around $40)

Can anything beat the iPod? Well, the iPhone can, but that's beside the point.

The MP3 player market is one where logic is thrown out the window and as long as the player is manufactured by Apple, it'll perform quite well. Although there have been a number of solid alternatives, none have gained ground. And by the look of things, the Zune is up next on the chopping block.

Report predicts Apple will control the household electronic's market in 2013. Too bad we'll all be dead by then...

Predicting the new gadgets that Apple (AAPL) might concoct next is a favorite parlor game of the technology industry, Wall Street and the blogosphere. The latest chatter is that company CEO Steve Jobs will reveal at a developer conference beginning June 9 a new version of the iPhone that can surf the Web over fast 3G wireless networks.

Turk & Rooster

Does that image remind you of the last film starring Robert DeNiro and Al Pacino? If you haven't seen Heat, go out and rent the sucker. You are evil and must be destroyed.

Jon Avnet's (Fried Green Tomatoes, 88 Minutes) upcoming film, Righteous Kill, stars Robert DeNiro and Al Pacino as a detective duo in New York (Turk and Rooster, according to IMDb). I remember watching the trailer for this a while back, thinking that it looked pretty cool.

Here's the second trailer, which was released recently:

Al menos es lo que señala un nuevo estudio presentado por Terra Networks. De acuerdo con una encuesta realizada a 3,500 latinos en Estados Unidos durante enero y febrero de este año, el 56% de los participantes dijeron estar al menos una hora al día conectados al internet, comparado con el 50% que dijo utilizar ese mismo tiempo viendo la televisión.
