Just a handful of random thoughts today..... In my last blog post I mentioned my temptation to feel better about myself when I had more people view the site......and that post set a record for most views since I began blogging in January. Isn't that funny?! Probably came from using "Satan" as a tag. :) Just finished a book by Francis Chan called CRAZY LOVE. Not sure I completely buy all the theology about who's saved and who's not, but I love the call to not get caught up in a lukewarm Christian life. Full of passion and Biblical references, it's absolutely worth a read. Thanks to the guys at lifechurch.tv for their list of summer reading that gave me the line on Chan's book. |

Greetings loyal readers. I have what I can only call a montage for you today. I am going to drop several ideas into one post because I don't have enough to make several posts out of them. |

Here is a test of the Apple Slim Aluminum (wired) (USB) Keyboard: 1. Type some numbers with the top row. 1234567890 2. Now, with the keypad: (Nothing) 3. Hit the F6 Key: 1421457896333 F6 twice appears to allow the use of the number keypad. And the Alpha Keys still work. 4. Here is more Text & Numbers using the num keypad: 123abc456def789GHI 5. Now, using the top row: 1234567890 6. and more text: This Apple Keyboard is acting kind of funny... So the moral of the story is to hit the F6 key to get the keypad to work. 7. To solve that: |

Bits: ‘Wall-E’: An Homage to Mr. Jobs “Wall-E,” the Pixar movie that took in $62.5 million over the weekend, is chock full of references to Apple products. Perhaps that’s because Steven P. Jobs, the chief executive of Apple, used to own Pixar before he sold it to the Walt Disney Company. |

The fourth update (10.5.4) to Leopard has been released (more information here), the pace seems to be picking up, which is a good sign. Though it could be because the 3G iPhone, and associated firmware and iTunes updates, are coming up July 11th. I'm glad to see a spaces bug was fixed, security bugs have been fixed, and bugs that caused problems for people using Apple Logic have been fixed, among other things. |
