Firefox still sucks on macs

And I'm not talking about the petty things, which anonymous said was

a level of nit-picking that would get a Trekkie crucified and ridiculed off the net.

Stimulate the Economy - Gooooooold MacBook Air

This joint is crazy.

There's been a lot of hate toward the Air, but I'm a fan.

New Apple Store is a glass act

//fdimages.fairfax.com.au/cui/fairfax_digital.gif” cannot be displayed, because it contains errors.

For a place that sells only Macs, there are a lot of windows in the new $15 million Sydney Apple Store.

Kudos to OpenDNS

strange how you learn to live with things that you should really deal with sooner rather than later..

it's a common theme which has cropped up in my life time and time again.. getting a new job, fixing the leaking shower, finishing the painting in the bedroom etc etc; you get the picture ?

one of those moments has just happened to me where I wish I'd spent some time sorting it out and then I wouldn't have wasted hours sitting looking at a damn blank screen..

sorry if this gets a bit technical but someone may learn from it..

Looks like Hideo Kojima loves Apple products - MGS4 is full of them

A couple of weeks ago the big story was there's an actual iPod in Metal Gear Solid 4 and that you could listen to the music and podcasts during the game. Well, the MSG4 - Apple connection doesn't stop there. There are loads of Apple products scattered around in the game.

Early on, when Snake meets Merryl for the first time and talks to her over a desk, there's a 15" MacBook Pro sitting on that very same desk. I thought this was a nice touch, but since it was visible only for a couple of seconds I didn't think much of it, nor did I do any snaps.

And the penny drops...

Or rather the sprout does.

SproutCore is the name for Apple's open source, platform-independent, Cocoa-inspired JavaScript framework for creating web applications that look and feel like Desktop applications.

Note the most pertinent part of that sentence: platform-independent, Cocoa-inspired.

Effectively - Cocoa for Windows.

Sugababes review

I got this album a while back (well this year) after quite liking some of the tracks released from it, and neither am I ashamed to admit that I like this album and often listen to it on my iPod or when at home chilling out.  I can't believe I haven't bought it before now, as in October 2007 and became a number 1 album.

I killed [chivalry] on the subway today

Whoever dubbed this town the most aggressive city on Earth must have taken the subway to work. That’s why – with the exception of the elderly or single mothers who just can’t cope with a mish-mash of bags, strollers and the odd child – I’ve killed subway chivalry for good.
