Macbook and Macbook Pro Design Overhaul rumors re-surface. New Keyboard 100%.
We have received some new information regarding Apple’s Macbook and Macbook Pro models, which have been long overdue for a design overhaul. Although the current case design is nearly flawless on both, rumors have continued to circulate about complete case refreshes for both machines. |

Sitze grade im Apple Store San Francisco und schaue mir eine Prsentation von Aperture 2 an. Währenddessen schreibe ich mit meinem Macbook diesen Blogpost. Ich habe schon viel von den Apple Stores in den USA gehört. Aber meine Erwartungen wurden übertroffen. Die Verkäufer sind alle nett und wissen was sie sagen. Hier stehen bestimmt 50 iMacs die alle von mindestens 2 Leuten belagert werden. Die Leute surfen im Internet, testen die vorinsallierte Software und haben jeden Menge Spass mit PhotoBooth. In München soll auch momentan ein Apple Store entstehen (Quelle). |

Y si, ya es un hecho. Una de las operadoras de telefonía celular de Argentina (a quien no le voy a hacer publicidad gratis, pero claramente ya deben saber cual es) esta anunciando en su sitio web el lanzamiento del iPhone para el més de Julio. Y otra operadora (coños) también estaría por hacerlo lo mismo. Lo sorprendente es que por lo que dicen van a respetar el precio de venta dado por Steve Jobs de U$S199.- para la versión de 8GB. Esto va contra todos los pronósticos, el mío incluído, que pronosticaban un precio de venta cercano a los U$S500.- Pero no, el precio es de solo U$S199.-, la verdad que un precio más que atractivo, pero por el momento aún me queda la duda de cuanto saldrán los planes y que extras habrá que pagar (o no). |

Google, Apple e Microsoft. Quando olhamos para trás, lá no surgimento do computador pessoal, facilmente identificamos duas empresas que tiraram proveito e, de certa forma, dominaram essa época: a IBM e a Microsoft |

I ran out of money, so I'm back from my 45 day vacation, and I'm glad to be back in the saddle for 98 Pound Geekling again. There was a lot to miss in a month and a half...
I'm just playing around with my new Mac- an entry-level MacBook, priced at $1,099 (but, since I live in Washington, it cost $1,191.32. Thank you, 8.4% sales tax!) My first impressions? The packaging was nice, the "MagSafe" power adapter is pretty cool, and the thing is, in general, nicely-designed. The keys are a little more widely-spaced than I'm used to, so typing is going to take some getting-used-to. The fonts are nothing short of gorgeous, and, speaking of which, this comes with some nice fonts- and a bunch of different weights and variations for Helvetica, for some reason. I don't know if it's multi-touch per se, but the touchpad can do cool things with two-finger gestures. |
