It's official: I am moving my life to Macintosh. The time for The Big Leap has come. I knew it was inevitable when more and more of my very self-reliant computer-savvy friends (true masters of their windows) made the jump and told me that it was totally worth it. And still i resisted. Ok, I was lazy, and I knew tht no matter how user-friendly Mac is, it will take time and effort to get it just the way I like it. And then I had an epiphany. Of sorts. I was sitting is a business meeting with a bunch of incredibly bright people and someone suggested that I write some Visual Basic code. Totally innocuous. Nothing wrong with it. At all. Except that I had to excuse myself, run to the restroom, and puke my breakfast out. |

I love my IPOD. Having all my music in one place seems like a fantastic leap of technology. Especially since I'm the type that likes to listen to my favorite songs over and over ad nauseam. When you add in the facts that I do a lot of walking (for exercise and work meetings), and I work in cubeville (the woman who sits near me tells the same story to each workmate as he arrives, by the fourth telling I'm pretty much ready to take her down), the IPOD is truly an invention of mammoth proportions. |

That is the question isn't it? I deleted my Time Machine files, just for the fun of it (couldn't reformat the drive had to much other info on it). Mac Pro 2.66 w/ 4gb RAM 1.25 tb of storage. ![]() |

I didn't think I would have had a chance to try out the Time Machine portion of my Time Capsule so soon, but unfortunately fake naked pictures of Hannah Montana sped up that process. It would appear I accidentally installed some sort of program that disabled access to the internet from my macbook. Whatever happened to it, forced me to reset my computer. |
