Made it to Portland, Oregon for a weekend trip. Happy birthday, America!

Of course I had to stop by the Apple store at Pioneer Square. About to shop for iMacs, old-school iPhones (if I can find them), and enjoy the friendly atmosphere.

Que hace más de un mes que no actualizo el blog tiene delito, pero que el primer post del verano lo dedique a un tío "made in apple spain" que lo primero que me dice del nuevo dispositivo telefónico de Apple es que se llama iPhone "zrillí" (3G pal resto de los mortales que tienen por lengua el español, vamos).

Es de juzgado de guardia, pero ya se sabe... con tanta globalización y tantos anglicismos... ya mismo tenemos que sustituir el DRAE completo por un diccionario inglés-español porque esto no cabe en cabeza humana.

Somit ist der Herausgeber der Bildzeitung Europas größtes Unternehmen, welches auf Macs setzt und gleichzeitig ist der Auftrag einer von Apple's Größten in der Untrernehmensgeschichte. Der Switch soll zur Modernisierung der Unternehmenskultur beim Verleger beitragen. Interessant ist auch die Aussage des Vorstands Dr. Mathias Döpfner, welcher angab, dass auch der TCO - also die Gesamt-Lebens-Kosten des Macs ein Grund für den Umstieg waren.

Divulgando dois artigos muito interessante que li de ontem para hoje que discutem de formas diferentes o mesmo assunto. Um aponta como seria o mundo da computação se as escolhas de Jobs tivesse sido diferentes e o outro discute sobre as sujas escolhas de Bill Gates. Ambos são bem interessantes, considero-os leituras obrigatórias! Um deles foi traduzido pelo Terramel, cuja assinatura é do Richard Stallman.
