I am convinced that the iPod is the beginning of the end for mankind. We will evolve beyond this fragile, mortal shell and become something... More. Whether it be Borg like or not, I don't know. Clearly though, something is going on. An empathic link between machine and flesh. There is no other explanation. (Okay, so there probably is, but for the sake of this piece, no, there isn't.)

Now there are more rumors about this September. Now people are saying that the whole iPod lineup will be refreshed with new iPod Touch's, iPod Nanos and iPod Classics with big price cuts to make them cheaper than the $199 iPhone. The above picture is suppost to be the new nano, it features a larger widescreen and a rouned case. The iPod Touch is rumored to have a GPS, speakers or a camera. We'll see what happens in the next couple of weeks. Let's hope this is true!

Oh yes I did.  I washed my second generation nano and it is not responding...

I have had it for a couple years now. I cannot believe that I did that! It was attached to my sweater that I jogged in this morning, and I just tossed it into the washer amidst the sweaty clothing!!!

You know how some people snap pictures of an image of the Virgin Mary on a tree trunk or in some peanut butter?  Well, I had a "divine" encounter with a being of a somewhat lower stature... an iPOD!  I was leaving my apartment to run errands yesterday, and I spotted the "iPOD" on the sidewalk.  It looks like chalk in the photo on the left, but it was actually light hitting the pavement in such a way that it looks like a white iPOD.

Apple’s online music store, iTunes, has been blocked in China after more than 40 Olympic athletes downloaded a pro-Tibet album from the site.
Consumers in China began inundating Apple help forums on Monday, saying that they could not access iTunes.
