I did some research to better understand the recent mechanism that had been used to track my movements. It seems the little door opening device that I was handed by a third party had a RFID tag inside.

I did some research on RFID tags some time ago and for a time was trying to stay away from stores and companies that would be using this stuff, but with other things on the brain kind of forgot about it, till this happened.

Apparently the little door opening device is made by a company that has been a trusted name in RFID technology for over a decade. Good to know, I don't want to be tracked by anything but the best.

The LG enV(2), also known as the VX9100, is a decent little phone that has a lot more power then Verizon Wireless claims. For some time I went bugging Verizon Wireless stores on how to do something on my phone. Every time I got the same basic reply, "sorry, your phone doesn't do that. You would want this phone (something more expensive)." Obviously these people don't know there own product or they make commision, but that's besides the point.

In this tutorial I will be showing you how to send someone's contact information and calendar event from your enV(2) over to your Mac.

To be on the safe side, I am going to assume that you do not know how to set up your bluetooth device. If you have already done you may find it helpful to jump down a little further.

Apple ha publicado un documento de soporte técnico para los propietarios de MacBook Pro afectados por un zumbido similar al sonido de un mosquito bajo el teclado de sus equipos. Cuando apareció el MacBook Pro muchos usuarios se quejaron de este ruido.

Realmente, estou sem uma pífia idéia há alguns dias. Como se pode ver através da falta de atualização do blog. 

Gostaria de parabenizar a agência que tem como conta a Apple. As propagandas "Get A Mac" são o máximo, colocando novamente a Microsoft no chinelo (inclusive por seus sistemas operacionais).

iPhoto - schön und gut. Wenn's ein bissle mehr sein soll, sagt der Gero, dann sollte schon Photoshop Elements her. Gesagt, getan. Und jetzt? Wie krieg ich am Klügsten die iPhotos rüber inkl. Alben und so..? 

Bliža se september, začetek šolskega leta, novih priložnosti, nakupovanj in množičnih bombandiranj z reklamami. Močno me zanima kaj se bo dogajalo onstran luže pri Applu. Napovedi so velike!

Že julija je bil predstavilen novi iPhone, kateri ima še nekaj hroščev, ki pa naj bi se kmalu odpravili. Za septembra so napovedi prenovitev celotne linije iPodov ter prav tako MacBookov. Apple ima tako navado (pa kaj navado-tak je pač trend), da ima določen model cikel okoli 200 dni. Takrat naj bi se navadili na nov izdelek, ga kupili in bili seveda z njim zadovolnji. Do takrat. Pride posodobljeni model in želja, katero smo že potešili, se obudi. Pa kaj čmo...ali jo zatremo ali pa ji podležemo.

Pues no!, no quiero que iTunes me haga una copia del iTouch cada vez que lo conecto al portátil. Ya habia leido alguna cosa acerca de que de repente sin saber porque esta copia empezaba a demorarse excesivamente, incluso llegando a las horas. Navegando por la red he encontrado como desactivar esta copia, ahora mismo no recuerdo de que página lo he sacado.

Antes de empezar cerrad iTunes en caso de que lo tengais abierto y poned las carpetas ocultas del sistema como visibles.

Teneis que ir a la siguiente ruta del sistema: "c:\documents and settings\NOMBREUSUARIO\datos de programa\Apple Computer\iTunes\". Allí encontrareis el archivo "iTunesPrefs.XML" (Os recomiendo que hagais una copia de este archivo antes de modificarlo).
