Writing from my first Apple MacBook

I finally did it. I jump to the dark Side. :) I've gotten my First Apple Macbook. At first I was a little scared and what to expect from it, as well as what kind of applications I would have to find to do the typical things I do. But to my surprise there are quite a lot of commercial, shareware and freeware that you can find out there.

Apple is going in a new direction with their notebook computers

Yes that's right Apple plans to redesign their notebook computers for sometime around this September. That means that if you are in the market for a new computer then I would strongly suggest holding out, for there seems to be much promise for a new design! Hopefully if all of the Apple news forums are correct then all of the notebooks will have an aluminum case. What this means is that the MacBooks will not be frowned upon because they are prone to getting scratches, marks and even discoloring on the keyboard and trackpad. I also advise you that this is all speculation and that nothing is etched in stone yet. If the forums are right then you can most likely expect  new Apple notebooks being released around september that will be of reasonable price and of great quality!

Cheap Mac: Surplus Meter

It seems to me that bandwidth metering and/or limiting is going to be a thing of the future for most ISPs.  The older model of unlimited usage made sense when we all were connecting at 28k and couldn't download anything above 1MB, but doesn't seem sustainable in this day and age.  With downloadable HD videos, limitless music and podcasts, VOIP, and online backup (to just name a few), our current networks just can't handle the load.

Simple Mac OS X Fixes Apple Should Impliment

I love macs, simply because they are easier and more fun to use. One of the reasons I love them is because Apple is always thinking outside the box. People tend to copy them, because their designs are so unique or imaginative.

But that doesn't mean apple gets everything right. The unfortunate think about apple's status as a trend-setter is that they sometimes do things that don't make any sense, simply because they want to be different then everyone else. Take apple's longtime reluctance to sell macs with a two-button mouse. Right-click is an obviously good design improvement (what do you know, Microsoft did something right!) Yet apple refused to make mice with a second mouse button! Why does apple need to be so arrogant, even when everyone knows they have great stuff?!

Pwnage 2.0.2 Se retrasa (Actualizado)

Ipod touch troubles...

My iPod touch is screwing around.... Only one of my apps is working... And that's this one, wordpress. Last night none of my apps would even open, so I deleted them and reinstalled them from the app store. They still don't work! Infact not even wordpress works perfectly, just then as I opened it up my whole iPod crashed and restarted! Tonight, i'm going to update it to 2.0.1 and unjailbreak it.

Safari for Windows - Not that good akshually

After using James' Apple Mac for a week, coming home and using my Windows PC again can take a bit of getting used to.

As i've been experimenting with browsers recently (I used to only use Firefox, but now I save that for blogging and use Opera for main web-surfing) I decided to download the Windows version of the Mac browser Safari to see how it handles.

First impressions...not that good really. On an Apple Mac, it's fine. It does everything you tell it to. I wouldn't say it's outstanding. It's just as good as you need it to. It's a browser. But on Windows, it's not even that.
