T-Poll: iPod Abbott vs. iPod Costello

The new skinny iPod Nano is here, in its 8GB version, at least--I know, because I have one right here. I'm working on a review, and one of the most significant differences compared to its predecessor is the one that's by far the most obvious: The old one was short and squat, while the new one is tall and slender.

Really Good Song for Visualizer

Here is what everyone needs to do right now. Put the song "Meet Your Master (The Faint)" by Nine Inch Nails somewhere in the middle of a short playlist and then start the playlist and play the visualizer. When it gets to this song you should be in for a really good show!

Nice Move, Microsoft! [Seriously.]

<!--StartFragment-->

First, I should point out I am a Mac Guy. In fact, you might even say I am a Microsoft-hater. (More on that another day.)

After a baffling silence, Microsoft has finally put up a response to Apple’s Get a Mac campaign. Armchair creative directors are now weighing in with their reviews––and they aren’t very good. Blog after blog: “Huh?”, “What was THAT?”, “Another failure for Microsoft.” “Vista, Part Two.”

Apple Portable Micro Projector

This great concept comes from designer Moti Barzilay, who decided to take things in his own hands by coming up with the iShow micro projector concept. We feel that this little projector would fit in really well in Apple's product line. It conveys the Cupertino spirit quite well.

Novidades Apple

As novidades Apple apresentadas por Steve Jobs não foram "tão quentes" como muitas das que estamos habituados, mas mesmo assim, são sempre excelentes.

Talvez a mais útil seja o itunes 8 com novas funcionalidades.

iPod docks are widely available, but only a few will allow you to dock your other MP3 playing devices, like media players or other brands. Pure has just announced the release of its i-10 iPod dock, which is actually compatible with other MP3 players as well. It works well with any stereo using a 3.5mm stereo input line.

Jose on Morpheus - the video

I just returned home from a special edition of the Dayton .NET Dev Group . The presentation tonight was INETA speaker, Scott Cate , talking about the MVP (Model-View-Presenter) pattern. Scott is a fantastic speaker and a heck of a guy to boot. Lately, I had been looking at the MVP pattern in general and the Castle project specifically. Scott's presentation really helped to tie things together for me. Call to action for Ohio .NET developers in Cincinnati, Columbus and Toledo and nearby cities - get...
