"Good news everyone!" Apple just releases Mac OS X 10.5.5 along with Security Update 2008-006 for Mac OS X 10.4.11 today. The updates provide numbers of fixes to the Operating Systems. As we have reported before, Apple is planning to ship new Macs around the time Mac OS X 10.5.5 is released. Some Mac sites also reported that new MacBooks are being shipped from the assembly factories today. Am I the only person on Earth who needs some sort of tech advice every 24.9 minutes? If it's not my iPhone, it's my iPod. If it's not my iPod, it's my iMac. And i and i and i. Maybe I just have an iProblem. Either way, I always have a Britannica of tech questions that need answering. Plus, I just like to stay ahead of what's happening on gadget island. What's going on friends, As of right now, I find it very important to tell you something that separates me from almost everyone who reads this... I still don't have an I pod. I know that makes me a loser amongst my peers, but I have still not found a reason (or the money, thanks to tuition) to get one. Sure, I could listen to any one of my favorite songs at anytime of the day, but I feel like that would take away from me singing to myself on the subway. |

With all the rumors circulating that Apple will soon be coming out with a tablet PC, i cant help but be somewhat excited. Granted it will be somewhat of a niche market, but then again so were MP3 players before the iPod. It will basically be a PC version of the iPhone. Bigger screen, use the same HD as in iPods, hopefully aluminum casing. It is rumored to be announced sometime in october by Apple. Which would be super exciting, considering on what i've seen apple has patented involving the tablet PC. The coolest was by far seeing it integrate with future versions of the iMac. |
