I became uncharacteristically productive this evening and collected album artwork for every single album on my dinky iPod Nano. It took me ages, but it was well worth it! I have just been flicking through cover flow on and off for the last half an hour, smiling. So beautiful.. This completes my recent iPod makeover. When I was in Paris I bought a cool pink hard cover for it. I love it. It's like something from the future! When the iPod is not in use, the screen kind of frosts over, so you can't see it, but when you start using it, it clears up and you can. It's so great! Between that and my fancy album artwork, it's almost like having a brand new iPod! Very cool indeed. |

Recently, Apple debuted a line of new, or "refreshed," iPods. The "nano" had an almost complete overhaul, while the "shuffle" had just a change in colors. The new iPod "Touch" had some major improvements added into it. All you parents out there surely know now what your children will be asking for this holiday season! Let's start off by discussing the iPod shuffle. |

A lot of people, when they hear the word design, think color, shape and texture. Most technical people think hardware. To design something is to create it out of thin air. But in all honestly, that's really as far as the definition should strech to. Today's tech consumer universe is, in some ways, simliar to its decendant of 10 years past. But what is design? As Steve Jobs has been quoted saying, design is not the color of your curtains, it's how something works. |

Okay, so are iTunes gift cards jinxed, or what?!?!? I tried to use two of them recently, and both times I was unable to register the card. THEN, to make matters worse, my iPod is now empty and not wanting to load. It was dropped (thank you, dear daughter), and it started not playing certain songs, so I restored it, and now it won't load. Oh, happy day. Ack! No good music! Major issues! |

Today I have a guest post up on Feelgood Eats, with a recipe for a delicious early autumn meal: Sausage, Cheddar & Apple Strata. Feelgood Eats is one of my favorite food blogs; I always enjoy reading Sue Bette's take on local, seasonal food, and she cooks up some delicious recipes, to boot -- if you haven't been there, pop by and say hello, and subscribe while you're at it! |
