Quit Pushing Me!

What a difference it makes to have your iPhone set to "fetch" email instead of "push". My fully charged battery is lasting way past my bedtime, which was only getting about 12hrs out of the accidently set preference.

Hostage for a fortune

'I'll execute every last one...'

More news from the department of 'if Microsoft did it, they'd be strung up from a lamp post but if Apple does it, no one cares' department.

It seems that you have to be so cool to be a member of the apple app creators club that you're not allowed to even talk to the non-members about it.

Biting the Hand that Feeds

So here is a little more Fail for all of you out there. First to get tossed into the guillotine: Genius in iTunes. This Fail has already been well documented. On various occasions it has suggested ridiculous music because it found a band that had a similar name. Yeah that's what I would call genius. Just give up on following things like the genre and stick to names only. The other portion of Fail is when you own everything by the artist. The genius still suggests that you are missing about five songs from said artist. But wait, if I own every album, singles included, why would I need to buy more songs from iTunes?

Free Alternatives For Managing iPod And iPhone Without iTunes

iTunes 8 is here and is still a memory hogger like previous versions, instead of decreasing the bloat Apple seems to be adding more and more supporting services to the player further increasing the memory consumption.

Chrome Not Developing into a threat.

In the first 24 hours after the release of Chrome, Google's new web browser, it hasn't caught on as Google had hoped.  The first 24 hours saw a 1% market share for the new browser.  It hardly put a dent into Microsofts dominance at about 72% followed by Firefox at 19%  and then Apple's Safari at about 7%.  As of last week however, the market share for Chrome has dropped off to about 0.7%.  User must be finding that Chrome does not provide the same amount of services as Explorer or Firefox because data is showing that users are coming back.  Safari is relatively unaffected since Chrome is not available on the Mac platform.

The Real Reason I Hate You, Is Because You Embody What I Can Never Be.

Ummm....
I'm having more fun commenting back and forth than posting, I think.
That is what I wanted from blogging to begin with.  Sort of like social networking, but different, you know.  More like talking back and forth, after something that may or may not be related to what I was saying.  I'm not too concerned if the topic of the comments strays from the topic of the posts.  That's not important.  It's the fact that there are people actually commenting.  Makes me feel special.  Even though I'm sure it's not meant to be taken that way.  Oh well!
Anyway, more importantly, it's fun.  And I say loads of fun.  Lots n lots n lots.  Fo sho.
