Characters: Dinesh - Yours Truly. Dinesh's Wife. Marconi - The guy who invented Radio. J.L Baird - The one who gave us TV. Time: Late evening on a Summer day. Place: Dinesh's Apartment. It was a relaxing evening, I sipped a cup of tea and parked myself on the couch with Remote control on one hand. I was browsing through the TV channels, finishing up my tea with noises of daughter crashing items in dishwasher and wife asking me to take her away from there. |

The Apple Macbook Pro has had the luck of being my chosen laptop over the last two months. It's also my first Mac. The 2.4GHz Intel Mac is a budget power computer. It's powerful enough to run Oblivion at the highest setting, so it's a good gaming Mac. Image and video also benefit with the 256mb graphics card. |

And it's snack time! My snack today's actually my very early dinner because I'm spending the evening with a friend. I apologize for the lack of pictures but here's a view of part of my sandwich: Peanut butter, strawberry jam, and banana on Rudi's whole wheat. Has anyone else noticed that Rudi's whole wheat is a huge bread! I mean, seriously, the slices are like 7 inches wide! Oh, yes, and I also ate a superb Honeycrisp apple. |

I recently came across a behaviour of Leopard's Screen Sharing feature that surprised me. Would someone with two Macs to hand please try this and let me know whether it's just something to do with my setup. (I install a lot of shit.) |

So I'm reading an article on MercuryNews.com about another lawsuit in which someone is suing both AT&T and Apple because "...the high-speed phone network has been 'overloaded' and unable to deliver promised performance." The complaint seems to infer that because the number of new phones has increased dramatically, AT&T is unable to guarantee the advertised connection speed and both AT&T and Apple have misrepresented the device and network capability. |

We USM students are a crafty bunch that doesn't scare easily. Thats why I laugh when I see the posters hanging in front of me right now. They say things like "USM's Network is a Public Domain, If you have active file sharing software, the recording industry can see you!" There is a big eye ball right in the center of the page that represents the recording industries eye ball I guess. This poster's message is two fold. 1). Screw the record industry for charging us 1000% the actual cost of a CD, stick it to the man anyway you can I always say. 2). |

Well these two rumors have been around for a while, the 4G iPod nano and the 2G iPod touch. Personally I can't wait for either. They both seem to have great changes to their "form", I can't wait to see how the new ones look. By the rumors the 4G iPod nano is going back to its last "tall" form, and it is going to have curved edges just like the newer MacBook Air. The new 3G iPhone also has the curved back to it. I personally don't like the tall nano, I think that the short one looks a lot better, but I understand that they want to enlarge the screen for viewing video. l I like the new curved products by Apple, I think they make them look amazing. I do wonder about the colors that they will be available with. I think that I like the new 3G colors compared to the 2G colors. |
