iPhone vs. BlackBerry: a duel of keyboards

Here's how you know that I really love my BlackBerry (besides the fact that it has become an extension of my hand): I purchased it in the middle of all of the iPhone hype last summer. And it was one of the keenest investments I've made in years. Though I do hope to get an iPod Touch as an internet supplement, I don't yet have a handle on the keyboard. I got really frustrated trying it out at the Apple store one day.

But there's light in this tunnel! I found a blog that suggests ways to get beyond this common quibble amongst iPod Touch and iPhone users. He writes:

Stop trying to achieve pinpoint accuracy on a tiny keyboard with fingers that are large and blunt-tipped. Your best bet is to type quickly, attempting to plant your finger somewhere in the general vicinity of the letter you’re trying to press. If you get reasonably close, the device will auto-correct your spelling errors quite effectively. The only key that you must hit accurately every time is the space bar.
